Pewter
His sterling gaze belittled the silver pistol she held within a trembling hand. The cold, mocking barrel was pressed firmly against her temple. His cooling voice of reason could not reach her. A shot hissed and he left, by his own hand.
Plastic Flowers
Plastic flowers are immortal. Like ancient Gods they sit on our grandparent’s dining room tables, staring down, mocking us. They know they will outlive us. They perch with unrelenting authority, ever watching. Yet, death will arrive, and slowly. Thank God for lighters.
Shrink Wrap
A shrink-wrap demoness prowls. Watching her with caution, the aluminum foil rogue plots his next move. A foolish wax paper knight ventures too close, and is banished to the microwave. A hand orbits, the foil shivers and the shrink-wrap screams. Caught again.
For Sonic
Once upon a time, there was a young man. All day he would see a holy number. He grew ignorant of its sacred meaning. He would ramble, speaking of it constantly. Annoyed and frustrated, a Goddess and her katana promptly beheaded him.
Dreams and Monkeys
The past for him was a silent one. He used to lean in darkness, yet every word he said was drenched in sheer intelligence. He has been an excellent friend. Now we talk about the important things in life: Dreams and monkeys.
Life
Life is a square. Its sweet. We ponder its existence at times. Its in us. It gives us something to look forward to when we wake up in the morning. After all what more can I say about such a great cereal?

The Ozone Blue Saga
Ozone Blue
Fire blazed a rip in the atmosphere. The Earth thundered with the impact. The liquid mercurial composition of the seeds spread slowly, encasing the ozone. Choking it to death. To fight back, forces were made. It was Shioko’s turn at destiny now.
Shioko Kitsune- How it all began
She slammed into the counter, due to the force of the blow. The last thing her attacker saw was the flash of urban camo pants and the bottom sole of her military issued boots. She glanced at the bartender, “Come with me”
The Bartender’s View
In a split second glass shattered the atmosphere. There were angry customers, but when they saw her incapacitate the fool, they quickly dispersed. Then she asked me to go with her. To where I don’t know, but I leave armed and intrigued.
The Attacker’s View
I followed her into the dark land of inebriated souls. I met the demonic emerald glare of her eyes, and sprang. I gave her a hard elbow to her chin. There was a crack, she flew back smoothly. Her boot. Then darkness.
The Boot’s View
It was dark, and wet. I felt something, hoping that it was beer and not someone’s last meal. The sticky, carpeted floor was covered in cigarette ash. I then remember the clouded, smoke saturated air. Faint light. Someone’s face. That felt great.

The Roomate
She came, she sat down, and she booted me. Without a word or breath she continued online, monopolizing the ’Net like Caesar. I grew angrier, and wondered if my tanto would solve my constant bootage problem. If not her, maybe her computer…
Mutiny
The ship groaned like the failing stomachs of every man on the ship. Rebellion grew stronger. For some reason they believed their captain was not an honest man.
A cry, “Land!”
The captain flipped up his eye patch to see better, “Where!?”
It Came From Within
In horror she looked at him. His face twisted suddenly, as he tried to contain it. There was no escaping it now; there was nowhere to hide. Biting her hand, she withheld a scream. It could be held no longer. He burped.
The Reason Why
Do you want to know why the phone never rings? Do you want to know the cause for all the silence? It isn’t my fault. It never was, and never will be. In truth of it all hon… you have no friends.
Venting
There I sat, giving up my life…my personal joy and honor to make your life more normal. The phones were silent. No one called. You cold, cruel jerk. No wonder you lost your friends. No wonder they stopped calling. Chris was right.
Nakupenda
The word rushes from the threads of my emotions. In any language it portrays the same feelings I have. You may never know its true depth. I trust you, and I care so much about you. Your existence has made me complete.
A Disappointing Wait
I have been waiting all day for you to come home. I stayed off all day. You came home and I came online. Then she waltzes in and makes food. Without a word she connects, I lose you. She isn’t even sorry.
Thief
Finally, after five minutes of pursuit, the guard gave up. The second he turned around, I knocked him unconscious with my blackjack. I picked up the unconscious body and brought him to a small room. The body count is at nine now.
The Drunken Monkey
The inebriated primate swung low at the shoki before him. His paw flew helplessly at air. He flopped over, grunting. The young shoki called upon the force of wood to create a Singapore cane. A bard swooped down, and he was saved.
Crashintosh
It beeped at me, the demon Mac. I looked at it, and it looked back.
It froze on me, the malevolent Mac. I cussed aloud, unleashing a smack.
My zip was inside, that hideous Mac. After some “surgery”, I got it back.
Far Away
Where is the comfort now that he has stopped his song? When he was here, there was brightness and joy; peace and connection. All too soon, time, came racing to the shore. It swept him away with reluctance. Will he ever return?
Inspired by “Ender’s Game”
They were teaching him something. Isolation. Independence. The faculty was to remain at a distance. He fought his small wars with reluctant and disturbing violence. He hated himself for it. A mirror image was forged. He saw his brother in the reflection.
Sketching
With great exuberance he pressed the charcoal into the dark newsprint paper. Black dust flew from his fingers as he sketched the model furiously. Within minutes he had made the anorexic girl look like Xena. I don’t know how he does it.
The Artist’s Cliche
The character’s muscles built up higher with every stroke he made. The sketched superhero looked humorously out of proportion. It’s physique looked like a scared white rabbit on steroids. An old cliché flew by my mind: “It takes one, to draw one”.
The New Agent
They handed me his papers. I thought for one moment this was all some amusing joke, but his look was serious. I read it over again.
Name: Sarin Orange
I stood up and shook his hand, “Welcome to the FBI Agent Orange”.
Waking Up
The birds were singing. They made me think I was a child again today. I thought that I was once more a small girl, playing alone in the morning.
I thought to myself “Dear God, my life is flashing before my eyes”.
The Slap
I worried when you didn’t come. I waited for as long as I could, then she got on. I continued to wait. I’ve been through a lot, and its all my fault. Then, you slap me hard in the face. Nice job.
Losing
I did something stupid, I didn’t think. I almost lost you. I almost lost myself. I’m losing my friends. I’m losing my strength. I’m losing my happiness. I’m losing you now. Things will never be the same, because I’ve lost. Lost everything.
Outside the School
I sat down next to Jerry. We talked about life, as we knew it. How similar we are. My life flashed again before my eyes. For his sake and my pride I didn’t cry. I realized he’s a great friend to have.
The Weather Outside
Cold. Dark. Deep. Frozen. Powerful. Bleak. Saturated. Sharp. Persistent. Fierce. Tempting. Frigid. Dead. Lonely. Damp. Numbing. Screaming. Alluring. Violent. Vengeful. Tormenting. Cruel. Sinister. Ancient. Torn. Vacant. Infectious. Mysterious. Jaded. Disturbing. Forceful. Heavy. Unrelenting. Rough. Damaged. Amused. Taunting. Laughing. Vexed. Confused. Crying. Injured.
Realization
When you realize you can never go back, it hits you then. You can’t take back your actions, and people think less of you, they fear you now. No one will ever let you alone again. The good life is basically over.
Club Ozone
I was a mere dark twisting figure, moving silently with the others. Vibrant neon lasers knit color into the air. Hot white strobes slowed our movement. The music pounded and bent the atmosphere wildly. We melted like liquid silver, into swarming crowd.

The Enemy
Our greatest enemy is not a stranger in the dark, ever hiding. Our greatest enemy is not someone who knows us, who will expose us. Our greatest enemy is not ourselves. Our greatest enemy is the one who loves us the most.
Falling
So many desperate pleas. The voices seemed so far away. So unreal, so false. They were but words, text and air, virtual nothings. There was no presence, no material hand to help her up. There was a void, and she still falls.
Night
Through the soft grey shapes of darkness, I watched him stir. His caring arms slid out and stretched toward me. His own soft whisper: “Stay with me…”. My heart melted as I returned to the embrace and closeness of his love again.
Invincible
A dismantled angel of man’s alloy lay shamelessly abandoned, crying away life fluid.
The human gift of perfection convulsed alone, gasping precious sparks.
As her soul withdrew from her, she realized she was no machine.
She had been human all her life.
Bill Gates
A thief of silicon. He is too intelligent for his own good. He wallows in green and silver water. Paper and metal. Clothed in fame, caged in his cold world. Had it not been for this man my story would not exist.
The Untimely Death of Charlton
A pigeon fluttered down to the bar counter.
“You damn dirty ape!” he cooed to Bob.
Bob, just happened to be a monkey with relatively large teeth.
“I am not!” He screeched, consuming Charlton whole.
“They can talk?” Jay asked. Then silence.
His sterling gaze belittled the silver pistol she held within a trembling hand. The cold, mocking barrel was pressed firmly against her temple. His cooling voice of reason could not reach her. A shot hissed and he left, by his own hand.
